The Georgia Tech Women's Basketball team travels to cross-city rival Georgia State on Friday, Dec. 16 to face the Panthers at 7pm. The Jackets (6-3) are coming off a road victory at Middle Tennessee on Sunday. Sasha Goodlett and Mo Bennett led the Jackets to the win. Full Story
The Jackets' next home game is Thurdsday, Dec. 29 vs. North Carolina A&T at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. Game time is 2pm.
Scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 29, you can join other fans and Wreckin' Crew members on a bus trip to see the Jackets try to knock off the Clemson Tigers in Clemson, SC. Price is $30/person, or $40 for 2, and includes bus ride, game ticket and lunch.

During the upcoming Georgia Tech Women's Basketball season, we are going to be running our Jacket to Jacket reading program. This program is an effort by the Georgia Tech Women's Basketball team to promote and encourage children to read and learn. The following is an overview of the program:
Eligible Participants:
Elementary students from schools in the state of Georgia
Rules:
- Each child will record the number of pages read each day during one month period. Parents and guardians must initial the students reading sheet as provided. Newspapers will count and each full page read will count as two book pages. Please total the number of pages read on the reading sheet.
- Parents may read to their children. (books and newspapers)
- The name of the book is requested to provide information to the teacher as to the types of books the children are reading at home. Please make sure the books are geared to help the children learn and grow.

Georgia Tech Women's Basketball Coach MaChelle Joseph sat down with the media on Oct. 11, 2011 to discuss the upcoming season.
Head Coach MaChelle Joseph welcomes three incoming freshmen to the Yellow Jackets Women's Basketball team for the upcoming 2011-12 season. As a whole, the class was ranked one of the Top 25 classes in the nation by ESPN Hoopgurlz.
The freshmen are lead by 5'10" guard Sydney Wallace from Duluth, GA. She is joined by Tsaja Gortnar, a 6'2" power forward from Slovenia, and Sarah Hartwell, a 5'10" guard from Tacoma, WA.
